Oh, blogger.

A lot of bloggers are posting about the upcoming worry of the email we all received on Blogger no longer allowing blogs that contain sexually explicit content. While the pictures I post are usually of pretty decent taste, I, like others worry that written context will be next. What will be considered under the category of no longer allowed?

I have for some time already been pondering moving  back to my own Domain. I feel now is the time to do it. I truly, truly hope that the followers and friends I have made here at Blogger will still be active within the new home I will set up. For those of you who do not wish to move, I will still of course, visit your blogs on a regular basis. I have met so many amazing people here, and so appreciate the friendships that we all have developed.

I will let you all know when the new domain is setup and ready to view.

  1. To begin with, I didn't believe this was real. The email wasn't sent to my primary account, but to another I use. However, there is an article today in the Guardian newspaper online about this very thing. Like you, I plan to move to my own domain - mainly on principle. Though I have been posting more in the way of erotic photos this month, I don't necessarily want to all of the time. But I do not wish to be censored by Google!

Yes, exactly. I feel the same way. You said it perfectly. Please let me know once you are moved? :)

As julie above said, I don't wish to be censored. I am on this right away and will let you know once I am moved. Esp. being we are currently working on a whole photo set to share! :)

    1. Mick, yes, I wish they'd be more specific as well. :)

I will still visit your blog often, even once moved. :) xx

  4. Just point me in the right direction.
I, like Mick, am too lazy to move, and I don't usually post explicit pictures so I'll likely be sticking around here... At least for now.
(Guess I have to go through my past posts and make sure I'm not breaking the new TOA though.)

    1. Awkward froggie - I will still visit your blog often, you are one of my favorite ppl! :) A lot of people are doing that, cleaning up and staying put.. I had pondered it as well, but I had already been considering going back to having my own domain for awhile now anyway. :)

And thank you, hon. :) Hugs!

  5. I post some occasional pics that no doubt fall into Googles's explicit category, not often but I simply don't like to be censored. Part of me thinks that the latest news is all only a temporary reprieve and in few years we will be faced with the same issues. The other part of me considers shutting it all down and walking away.
