30 Days of Truth. Day 7.

Day 07 → Someone who has made your life worth living for.

Oh, boy. This is going to be a corny one! Sir. I met Him when I was only 14. We became close friends, and after a couple years of driving one another with coy teasing and flirting we admitted to one another how we felt. I actually still remember the day- we watched Alice in Wonderland , and didn't make it all the way through before we couldn't keep our hands off of one another. He left for Basic Training right after that, and I went on to have my first serious spinal surgery, that left me in the hospital for awhile, and then in a body cast and very limited. He wrote to me almost every day during that time. He then came up on orders to go to Germany, called me, and said - marry me. That was it, I squealed a yes and the rest is history. We never did go to Germany, the orders got canceled. lol.

 I am 37 now, it's almost a couple decades later - and I still couldn't be happier.

  1. That's not corny, that's beautiful. I love love! I know how you feel.

I have always been head over heels in love with my wife, starting in our vanilla life. Love, love, love her. It wasn't until we made our transition into our Female Led Marriage that i was able to discover that an even deeper, more profound level of love, admiration and desire existed.

    How's that for corny? SMILE

    2. I am so excited to see where this lifestyle takes us. I really do think it will become more and more acceptable in society to reveal FLM's. What do you think?

    3. Oh yes - absolutely! If we think about it, society gets more and more open to things as time goes on. I am sure way back in the day, D/s relationships alone were not acceptable to most. These days, the BDSM D/s community/lifestyle is HUGE. Look at Fetlife alone - so many users! I have hopes that one day, All types of us, no matter the dynamic will outnumber the vanillas! lol xx

  3. Not corny at all! I met Sir when we were 15, first thing I said to him was "nice canines" as he howled at the moon. We were...a bit odd back then. (Ok, we still are.)
Stories like ours are the exception, and that makes them fairy tales. :)

(ok, I got a little corny at the end there.)

  4. It was beautiful - not corny. I am always happy to hear of other military couples who are still together after so many years. It seems like everyone we know in the military ends up divorced. I love to see your loving marriage. It give me hope that the military is not the kiss of death. :)

    1. Pet.. smiles, thank you, hon! You're so right, most of the military couples we've known in the last 19 years have split by now. It's definitely not the kiss of death, though - while a more stressful relationship than a lot of others, if you love one another, and don't give up, it can work. We agreed from day one that no matter what, divorce is not an option. We fight to make it work. Luckily we get along so well, that it's never been an issue for us. We seriously argue *maybe* once a year or so! lol.

I think you and your Master will be always be the same as us with this. :) xx
